How Can I Worship God?

Singing of our salvation and praying to God with thanksgiving are ways our family can worship together. This week, let’s show our kids that reading and obeying God’s word is also an act of worship. It’s another way we can make His name great and give Him the glory only He deserves.

God’s Word is precious, sweeter than honey and more costly than gold. 

In Psalm 19:7, the psalmist says His Word is perfect, reviving the soul and making wise the simple. There’s nothing that can be added to it and nothing that should be taken away from it. When we read God’s Word, we learn about Who God is and what His plan is for our life. And when we respond with loving obedience, as an act of worship, He is blessed.

Parents, let’s take our Bibles off the shelf and read it to our kids. The Word of the Lord will not return void. Every Word has the power to be life-changing. So start small, read often and worship together.
