Sam Luce is the Director of ChildDiscipleship.com at Awana. He has written extensively about children’s ministry, co-authored *Forming Faith and How to Teach Kids Theology,* and has blogged at samluce.com since 2007. Presently he writes on Substack. He also helped coin the term "kidmin" and is a frequent conference speaker.
Sam previously served as a pastor for 28 years. He holds a BA in Theology from Portland Bible College and dual Master’s degrees from Knox Seminary. Sam Is a current doctoral candidate at Western Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 27 years and have four children.
Curt serves Awana as a curriculum writer and developer for Brite* curriculum with over twenty years of experience in family ministry. During that time, he has served in small, large, and multi-site churches in a variety of roles. He also serves a number of churches and camps across the country as a coach and consultant, providing services such as staff coaching, ministry evaluation. Curt Hale is a husband and father of four living in Arlington, TX. A long-time family pastor, and a speaker who loves resourcing families to grow spiritually and relationally at home.
