Kim Botto is the mom of 5 and grandma of 11. For the past several decades, she has led children’s and student ministries in the local church while also leading initiatives around adoption and foster care. Sixteen of those years were at Crossroads, one of the largest and fastest growing churches in the country, with sites in Kentucky and Ohio. She also served as Director of Training and Development at a Cincinnati nonprofit serving multi-system involved youth. Kim has helped train thousands of children’s ministry staff, educators, parents and nonprofit staff on engaging neurodivergent kids/teens and trauma informed care.
As an adoptive mom and advocate for kids and teens who are neurodivergent or have disabilities, Kim’s passion is creating safe, welcoming and fun environments for all kids, regardless of their background, behavior or unique needs and abilities, so they can better experience God and grow in their faith. Church should be a safe and fun place for EVERY KID/TEEN.
