Help your little kids create an empty tomb, using a donut and a donut hole. Slice the full-sized donut in half and place it upright on a plate. Then set the stone (donut hole) in front. Remind your children that the tomb is empty! Jesus rose from the dead!

Ask your big kids to create a stop-motion or animated video to retell today’s story. Help them think of creative ways to create the scenery using building blocks, clay or craft paper.

Create an Easter wreath by gluing handprints cut out from construction paper onto a paper plate. Help your children write or draw a “thank you” to God on each handprint.
