Make a thankful tree with your kids. Cut a tree trunk from brown craft paper. Create “leaves” from your child’s handprints cut out of construction paper. Each day until Thanksgiving, ask your child to draw or write something they can praise God for on the leaf and tape the leaf to the thankful tree.

Snack
Try this option during snack time! You will need a bag of pretzel sticks. Help your child spell out the word “praise” with the pretzel sticks (and maybe eat a couple along the way).
When finished, ask them to share one thing they would like to praise God for.
Find
This week’s verse is found in the book of Psalms. Help your child find the book of Psalms. Is this book in the Old or New Testament? How many chapters are there?
Paint
Help your child paint pictures of God’s great creation. Place them around your home as a reminder to praise God every day.
