Invite
Invite an older Christian over for dinner. (This could be a grandparent, a great-aunt or uncle, or even an older couple from church.) Ask them to share the story of their faith and how God’s righteousness has done great things in their life. Encourage your kids to ask questions. At the conclusion of your evening, ask your guest if they would pray a prayer of blessing over your family.
Color
Print off this week’s coloring page that includes the question, answer and verse!

Pray
God, there is no one like You! I praise You because You are righteous. All Your ways are perfect. All Your words are true. Thank You for teaching me while I am young. Help me to serve You all my days and tell others about the great things You have done! Amen.
Share
Tell your child about a time someone’s bad choice impacted your plans. How did you feel? Now share why you are thankful God is righteous and always makes the right choice.
Sing
Sing along to the songs on this playlist and praise GOD ALONE who is sovereign, eternal, holy and righteous!

Read
Featured
Check out a book from the library that allows you to choose your own ending. (Preview the book’s content ahead of time.) Read the book and make decisions for the story together. Keep in mind that “right” choices keep the story going, and “wrong” choices lead to dead ends.
Remind your kids that God alone is righteous. He is the only one Who always chooses what’s right and always does what’s fair. When we trust Him and listen to the Holy Spirit, we can learn to make right choices in our life too.
Find
This week’s verse is in the book of Psalms. Help your child find the book of Psalms. Is this book in the Old or New Testament? How many chapters are there?
Tell
Ask your child to think about two people they know who have done great things. What were those things? Next, ask them to think about something great God has done in their life. Encourage them to share what they thought of with a family member or friend.
