Who Has Done Great Things?

In our house, we have regular conversations about what does and doesn’t make us righteous. We aren’t more righteous when we dress up for church on Sundays. We aren’t more righteous when we memorize more verses than our friends. And we aren’t more righteous when we avoid certain music or movies. We want our girls to know we love God and desire to honor and obey Him; but without Christ’s work on our behalf, our righteous deeds are nothing but dirty rags. Praise God, our righteous Father sent us Jesus so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).
