What Can I Do To Be Perfect?

Whether you’ve been a Christian for a few days or a few years, it’s easy to struggle with doing good things for the wrong reasons. And it’s not just our friends and family we want to impress. We secretly want God to think highly of us, too.

Nothing we could ever do will make us perfect enough to enter God’s Kingdom. We are saved by grace alone through faith alone. 

Take time this week to talk about the motivation behind the good things your family does and remind them that because of Jesus, we don’t need to work harder or boast louder. When God sees us, He sees Jesus, and by Him, we are made perfect in God’s sight.
