Who is like God?

When I look at God’s creation in all its beauty, I’m filled with an overwhelming sense of wonder. God made every star, every tree and every blade of grass – out of nothing.

If His creation can take my breath away, how much more should the Creator?

There is nothing and there is no one like our God. He is first, the last and only. All His ways and every aspect of His character are perfect. Perfect in love. Perfect in salvation. And perfect in forgiveness.

Have you ever stopped long enough to consider how precious our Father’s complete and perfect forgiveness is? It, too, should cause us to swell with wonder, overcome us with joy and challenge us to encourage our kids to stand in awe of all He is. His forgiveness erases the sin that defines us, making our relationship with Him right again.

This week, let’s talk about our amazing God. There is no one and nothing like Him, and only He can perfectly forgive.
