Is God with us Now?

Jesus Christ, Immanuel, came to Earth as a baby, lived a sinless life and died on the cross in our place. When He rose from the dead, He forever ended the separation between us and God. Those who trust in Jesus have been filled with the Holy Spirit. And now the God who came to Earth to be with us, is living IN us.

In Revelation 21 we are given a sneak peek of eternity when we read, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.”

This week, encourage your family with the truth that the promises of Revelation will be fulfilled. Help your kids understand that no matter what this world throws at us, our future is secure. One day, God will dwell WITH His people again. And there, He will be WITH us for all eternity.

Parents, let’s take our Bibles off the shelf and read it to our kids. The Word of the Lord will not return void. Every Word has the power to be life-changing. So start small, read often and worship together.
