Why Did Daniel Give Thanks to God?

Daniel may be most famous for the night he spent with the lions. But this week we’re going to Talk About one of his earlier experiences in Babylon interpreting a dream for King Nebuchadnezzar.

Daniel and his friends prayed to God for mercy, asking that He would reveal the mysterious dream. And when God did, Daniel thanked the Lord, saying “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to Whom belong wisdom and might.”

Our God is God forever and ever. The same God Who revealed mysteries to Daniel gives wisdom to us today. We’re not left to figure life out on our own but can lean on His understanding to guide us as we guide our kids.

The book of Revelation tells us we will praise God forever in eternity. So start up the playlist, pump up the volume and spontaneously worship with your kids right in your living room. There is no better day to start practicing than today.
