Who Did God Send for Us?

As a parent of adult children, it’s hard to know when to give advice and how much to give. I never know what I should let my kids figure out on their own or when I should help guide them. But no matter how little — or how much — I interject, I want them to remember I will always love them.

When Jesus ascended into heaven, He didn’t leave us to figure out faith on our own but gave believers the Holy Spirit, God’s chosen Helper, who is still active and alive today. He reminds us of Jesus’ teachings, helps us pray and affirms to us we belong to God.

We will never outgrow our need for the Holy Spirit’s help in our lives, and He will never stop reminding us how much we are loved by our Father in heaven.
